Actor and Director Chris Greene was born in Mount Vernon, NY and like many other Actors, Chris found himself between homes at a very young age after his parents separated. Though this was a tough transition for him, Chris learned to deal with his frustrations by entertaining a crowd! His school teachers would label his progress reports with "good student, very talkative" and "loves to entertain the class". To help Chris use that energy in a more focused way, his parents would get him involved with music and he began performing, as the school band's drummer until graduating high school. After earning a musical scholarship to attend Winston Salem State University in Winston Salem North Carolina, Chris would be introduced to the Dramatic Arts at a neighboring college, The North Carolina School of the Arts. It was here that Chris would find his love for acting. His first role was as a featured extra in the independent film Chicks 101, Chris was bumped from a background to a featured extra because of that same "stand out personality" he had as a kid. With over 15 years of training and experience as an Actor, Chris has appeared in everything from commercials for AT&T and Chevy to feature films working opposite the likes of Joel Edgerton, Colman Domingo, Bill Cobb, Nick Offerman, Hugh Laurie, Aunjanue Ellis, Elizabeth Rodriguez and many others! Chris has also worked for award nominated and winning Directors like John Lee Hancock, Carl Franklin, Donald Glover, Zetna Fuentes & Jeff Nichols. As a Director for several years under his production company Detour Entertainment, LLC., Chris' short films and their Actors earned nominations and wins at several respectable film festivals. Aside from spending time with his daughter Zoé, who has also taken to acting, he coaches Actors on the importance of having a positive lifestyle through his organization The LOAA, Life of an Actor! - IMDb Mini Biography By: Detour Entertainment LLC.
