Joe Stolzer was born in Jamaica, NY, and was raised in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn. With the help and guidance of his wife Irene, who worked as a production specialist for film documentaries, he entered acting after a long career as a sports strength & conditioning coach. His athletic ability allows him to successfully portray villains and law enforcement types with great comparisons to Bruce Willis and Vince Diesel. He took acting classes at the Actor's Lab in New York City. Was accepted into the Academy of Dramatic Arts. He later studied the Chekov acting technique. His work in athletic performance videos allowed him to get into writing, acting and being behind a camera. The passing of his beloved wife Irene in 2016 motivated him, and at the height of her illness she encouraged Joe to continue acting. Irene Elizabeth Stolzer was an accomplished documentary producer with works featuring Mikhail Baryshnikov and Life in the Bayou.
