Cristy Joy was drawn to performing at a young age. Growing up in South Florida, she was in musical theater, chorus, show choir, bands, student films, and independent films. In college, she studied acting & tv/video production. Her first show was in kindergarten, singing in chorus, and performing solos for school assemblies. During third grade, she got the lead role in her first play. Cristy Joy's comedy career began after improvising a bit with Tom Green on his talk show. During this time, she was honing her skills in a sketch comedy group that rehearsed weekly & performed locally for several years. Since then, Cristy Joy's done improv with Tim Heidecker, Nick Kroll, and has had numerous performances at he Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, Second City Hollywood, and the Pack. Cristy Joy is in a comedy sketch that aired on the season finale of America's Got Talent. Her comedy dancing can be seen on Comedy Central's "White People Problems" and on FOX's "Weird Loners". Her freestyle dancing can be seen throughout Justin Timberlake's music video for "Can't Stop the Feeling". Cristy Joy's acting is featured prominently in the series premiere of Adult Swim's "Decker: Unclassified", as she is in the entire 2nd half of the episode. Cristy Joy recently performed Squeekaoke on Season 13 of America's Got Talent. She also has a supporting role in two upcoming features. Cristy Joy has been studying & performing improv weekly for over 5 years. She is on a house team for the iO Comedy Network and is in a new show at the Second City Hollywood.
