German-Italian actor Nicolò Pasetti showed his interest and promise in the dramatic arts early on. Growing up in Berlin, he played lead roles in school plays in elementary school and then went on to study drama at an English boarding school at age 16. Being the son to a lawyer and a business consultant Pasetti struggled to convince his parent's of the practicability of his career aspirations. Therefore, Pasetti came back to Berlin after one year abroad to finish high school. After graduation Pasetti was accepted at the prestigious University of Music and Theatre Leipzig and began his professional training as an actor. In 2015 Pasetti landed his first part in an art house film, "Solness". Other roles in German television and cinema followed. In 2017 Pasetti was offered to play a part in Mike Newell's screen adaption "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society", starring alongside Lily James and Michiel Huisman, which is considered to be his breakthrough.
