Stephen Adekolu (born January 20, 1989) a former professional football player in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played USport (formerly known as Canadian Interuniversity Sport "CIS") football with the Bishop's University Gaiters. Stephen first caught the eyes of pro talent evaluators at Duane Forde's National Invitational Combine in 2013 which led to him being invited to the National CFL combine. He returned to Bishop's in the fall of 2013 to finish his degree in Business entrepreneur and Fine arts while playing his final year of football eligibility. Stephen signed a contract to play for the B.C Lions on February 27th, 2014, and then signed with the Montreal Alouettes in 2017. Stephen is an actor, motivational speaker, a youth mentor and a community advocate having visited over 200 schools and connecting with students all across Canada. Aside from his football training during his university off seasons, Stephen also worked as a leader for the Boys and Girls Club of Peel Region in his native Brampton, Ontario. He now represents them as a spokesperson, giving speeches and fundraising for various events.
