Krystin Goodwin resides in Los Angeles. She continues to work as an on-air personality in television, radio, and on the web. She is recognized as a female Aviator, training for her private pilots license. Krystin was born and raised in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area of Fairfax, Virginia. At a young age, she began singing, dancing and won several awards competing in talent competitions, and playing the piano. In high school Krystin played field hockey, lacrosse, and basketball. She also performed in her high school's nationally competing show choir "Touch of Class." As a senior, she traveled to Chicago, Illinois to compete with the group at the Oriental Ford Theater. The group was a finalist in the top ten of the country. Krystin attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida where she joined the school's competitive mass media production department. She was selected by the Producers of the university's "The Leonard Hamilton Show," to be the Feature Reporter for the school's Florida State Men's Basketball Team. While attending college, Krystin worked as a Reporter for FOX Sports Florida, a Florida Network Station highlighting the 17 athletic programs at FSU which aired all over Florida. She reported, edited news segments, and was the Sports Reporter for the school's TV programs "Seminole Showcase" and "Seminole Sports Magazine." Krystin graduated with a Bachelor of Science in broadcast communication, and a minor in film. She graduated Magna Cum Laude, with honors in Lambda Pi-eta (Communication Honor Society), Oscar Ariaz Sancez (Hispanic Honor Society), Golden Key International Honor Society and Sigma Alpha Lambda (National Leadership Honor Society). Krystin accepted a job as a one-man band on-air Reporter for the CBS affiliate in Tallahassee, Florida WCTV Eyewitness News. She also anchored an entertainment show called "Weekend Happenings," which aired on Saturday and Sunday mornings in north Florida and south Georgia. Krystin returned to the D.C. area in January of 2009. She attended the Inauguration of President Barack Obama, and the Inaugural Youth Ball with a friend who worked for the Presidential Inauguration Committee (P.I.C.). In early 2009, Krystin moved to New York City. She was selected as the Red Carpet Reporter for the prestigious theater award program, The Drama Desk Awards.
